Carried upon the shoulders of stronger men
Leeward in your journey to a far better place
All encompassed with provisions I could never afford.

It seems my destiny to
Willingly keep this poignant vigil of
Never-ending stories that sometimes do and
Forget-me-nots that never will.

In time, I am sure, I will see the
Lovely visions in which you continue
Younger than any God should have the right to claim.

Mine is a lonely tribute, shared with few
in obscured words and somber prose
complicated by the feelings of four but
kept alive within my heart. Always.
