My heart so full
breaking with the
added burden of the
rugged beauty everywhere

A warm,
sun-soaked cove
embraced by rugged cliffs
white sand invites bare feet.
Surf's roar inspires, encourages
introspection.
Brine-scented breeze lifts
lonely heart whispers to you.
Echoes tumble off the scarred surfaces,
smoothing rough edges.
Waves retreat murmured "I miss you"
and surge forth: "I need you."
and break-I love you.
Calm water remaining, never forget you.
