Love is holding on,

When it seems your world is going down in smoke.

Faith is believing,

Even though it seems there's nothing there at all.

Hope is looking to the end

Of a tunnel full of twists and bends,

Straining your eyes to finally see the light.

Who you are today depends on

The decisions you made yesterday.

Did you hold on tight? Did you find the light?

Whose shoulder did you lean on as you slowly found your way?

Innocence is finding joy,

Slowing down your day to see the beauty in your life.

Pride is seeing who you are,

Accepting and utelizing all your strengths and fears.

Courage is standing proud and tall,

Giving no ground despite it all,

Refusing to let the aches around you push you to your knees.

What you become in your life

Is made up of all your previous choices.

Did you turn the other cheek? Were you mild and meek?

Have you given the impression you will never fall?

Love, faith, hope... Innocence, pride, and courage...

Stay true to your beliefs, no matter who stands against you.

Make sure you stay on the path winding straight and true.

Never give up, always stand up tall...

Never be afraid to climb the wall...
