I had to be strong
For both of you
How could I collapse
When your grief was enough
For him we had lost
It hurts me to see you still
Your pain is still on show
Mine I keep hidden
But it is manifesting itself
In ways more painful
I need to collapse
I need to grieve still
I fear for the future
What will happen
When you both have gone
Will I be strong
Will my pain be released
I hope to never know ...
