Fighting for space, for the smooth equilibrium of balance;
two souls share one form.

Twins that bide time with one another, float eagerly to the top,
winning for the moment: freedom.

While one lays still in the stealth blackness of inner restraint,
the other flaunts time above ground.

Longing for both to be cut into piece and divided equal amongst the form;
the body is stagnant, while the spirit is chaotic.

“Help me open to you like a rose,” one whispers. Then comes the other “Set me free!”
Both clambering atop heavy with wanting.

Feet growing tougher from walking this wire, grip tediously with each step;
aching endlessly with the desire to find the center of gravity that brings with it balance.

Two souls sharing one body, twin spirits set to dance restlessly within the harbour of self.
Each having their time to find release between the seconds, but never quite alone.
