Like an umbrella to Amaterasu
Your words insult me
Demean my female sensitivities
Under passing clouds of guilted emotions

Your mouth vapidly speaks untruths
Twisting strange thoughts around my mind
Dulling my state of consciousness
With bromide tainted ideas

I wish I could cease to exist
So I wouldn't have to listen to
The drivel passing over your non-stop tongue
That turns moments into hours into dead time

Finally I excuse myself
Exiting with a daft apology
Departing before your hubristic presence
Leaves me permanently cracked

I love it!

Yeah, I had to look up amterasu or whatever. It was worth it. I found this a short and powerful poem which has a

real nice beat. While it deals w/ conversation, it made

me think of long wordy poems which go on and on........

until I make my exit.
