ration of reason
season of justification
ruling out what
its not about
cloaked in thick smoke and
dragging the flesh down with
shift of self and overexposure
finding some semblance of closure-
never.
i'm not clever but
i fake it
fuck it
take it right down to
some thin razor wire
invisible to some, the sum
of ill repeated numbers
defeated in slumber
my dream gets the best
of us,
even though i don't remember.

Sometimes

dreams can take what we fear the most and allow us to actually have some control over that fear and other times we lose to our fear.

Great picture you have painted , i like it.
