I was such a fool,
To fall into your smile,
A fools mistake,
never to be repeated.

I was such a fool,
to fall for those silken lines,
a fools mistake,
to be so easily cheated.

Innocence of heart cannot be regained,
first time foolishness can makes us all so blind,
it makes us wish for things that could easily have waited.

I was such a fool,
to fall in love with you,
I should have known,
The fool was you not me.
