I have learned a few lessons
In the time I have lived
learned how to appreciate
learned how to give.

In these past few weeks
Two I will remember most
learned how to love
learned to let go.

You entered my life with such force
left it with one as strong
Though we tried to make it last
We both knew it would not last

I lie and think about
I am the one to blame.
I trusted you,
I did not need this pain.

My soul is all cried out,
It is tired of being used.
Even though I feel I am guilty,
I am tired of being used.

I have learned to end this
Without an urge to cry
My final words to you,
"I loved you and goodbye."
