Which Valentine’s Day was it now?
When snowflakes glistened in your hair
You kissed the moisture from my brow?

Or was that when we faced despair
The time she nearly slipped away
When snowflakes glistened in your hair?

Don’t you recall that small café?
I dried your cheek of tears that fell
The time she nearly slipped away.

No? But I remember it well,
We stayed near home – didn’t go far.
I dried your cheek of tears that fell

That night we dared wish on a star
To see the spires of Notre Dame,
But stayed near home – didn’t go far.

I almost see – it’s not the same.
Which Valentine’s Day was it now?
So strange I don’t recall your name
As you kiss the moisture from my brow.
