buy a pet carrot and
walk it down the street

the people that you meet
will have a tendency to stare

hey they may dare to say
what the hell are you doing
with a pet carrot anyway

i will shrug my shoulders and joke
maybe i cant afford an artichoke.

Ah, perhaps

a bit of Ogden Nash too. Some excellent Verses, but then again, I'm a stranger here myself... nice poetry and salad fixings...

lol.

i think you should have picked a zucchini. This is an extremely silly poem young man, but it made me laugh like the fool i am, so wtf--it's a 5. :D

p.s. only a person in your line of work would write this. ;)
