Viper

You made a mistake when you walked away from me,
Or maybe you forgot I backed up all your secrecy.
Maybe its your infatuation that makes you twitchy,
I didn't blink when you laughed at me, embarrassed me,
I shoulda seen how you tried to break me.
Too bad you never developed loyalty.
But now all I feel is a relief,
Because I know I can't be deceived,
I'm no longer weak,
No longer meek,
Because its retribution that I seek.
I walk away from your defeat.
It's gonna be to late when you see,
Your so called friends are just like you,
Then you'll realized just how screwed,
You've become by your façade,
You're happy little world was just a mirage,
Your palace is more like a two car garage,
And that creeping loneliness becomes a barrage,
Overwhelming your little mind,
But I already peeked inside.
You deceived me and you tried to hide,
Just dragging me along for the ride.
Once before I'd run to your side,
But now the sight of you I can't abide,
There was a changing in the tides.
You deserve him the way you are,
I refuse to be in the back seat of that car,
Once it gets going it won't go that far,
Your bonds are mistrust and deception,
No matter what you wish your intention,
The truth you can't handle mentioned,
I bear it for you to endure-
You used your body like a lure,
Of his desire you felt so sure.
But when the lusted smoke cleared,
Everything was just as you feared.
Your body was the only reason he came near.
Just as you went to him because he was there.
I can try to hope for your happiness,
But a viper like you won't recognize it.
