Some days I feel more reflective
Mirroring deep held convictions
Amplifying comforting thoughts
Being resonant
Clarifying murkiness
Clouded yet clear

Today I feel comfortably disturbed
Floating down a quiet stream
Towards an unknown rapid
Attempting to steer
Nowhere in particular
Forwards and backwards

Peacefully you sleep restlessly
Contradictions that make solidity
Encompassing our life together
Blunt but razor sharp
Soft with hard edges
Silent cacophony

Contradictions

.....but making perfect sense. I particually like the final verse.
