Falling through my fingers...
like raindrops from petal tips.
Calling into the fog...
peering into the darkness.
Silence lays on my soul...
the way i sprawed across your bed.
Arms outstretched...
where the flat pillow used to lay.
Words are like acid on the tip of my tongue...
Feel the lightning sting my cheek,
but I just smile.
Hurts, doesn't it?
Love me.
Will you?
Need me.
Do you?
Remember me.
Can you?

Looking4Elizabethover 19 years agoAuthorThis poem was about a love affair that went wrong. I was on the receiving end of some very strong emotions, while for me it was simply lust. And so, I walked away. Not since the day I wrote about have I seen this particular man.
