Falling through my fingers...
like raindrops from petal tips.
Calling into the fog...
peering into the darkness.
Silence lays on my soul...
the way i sprawed across your bed.
Arms outstretched...
where the flat pillow used to lay.

Words are like acid on the tip of my tongue...
Feel the lightning sting my cheek,
but I just smile.
Hurts, doesn't it?

Love me.
Will you?
Need me.
Do you?
Remember me.
Can you?

They were so very wrong...
it's all about the walk away

The reason...

This poem was about a love affair that went wrong. I was on the receiving end of some very strong emotions, while for me it was simply lust. And so, I walked away. Not since the day I wrote about have I seen this particular man.

this is good

I really like this part:

the way i sprawed across your bed.

Arms outstretched...

where the flat pillow used to lay.
