rivers of blood
from crevices
in the walls
Sticky footprints
trail behind me
Voices in the walls wail
anger and hurt
echo in my mind
The walls confine
shackle me a prisoner
The dark stains fade
leaving faint marks
of a former existence
Voices in the walls whisper
soothing songs
of peace and beauty
The walls enveloping
as a lovers arms
lure me home
