Pain and sorrow flow
rivers of blood
from crevices
in the walls
Sticky footprints
trail behind me

Voices in the walls wail
anger and hurt
echo in my mind
The walls confine
shackle me a prisoner

The dark stains fade
leaving faint marks
of a former existence

Voices in the walls whisper
soothing songs
of peace and beauty
The walls enveloping
as a lovers arms
lure me home
