I once ran my liquid fingers
over your textured flesh,
We ran together,
twisting and turning,
I carried you
and you built me up.
The more I touched you
softly, quickly
I started to wear you down,
make your rough edges
smoother,
more appealing for me to
caress.
Had I more time,
I could have chiseled you
into my perfect pathway.
