I've done some long hard thinking, about us babe.
All the cumbersome pain we've exchanged, caused, claimed.
flashes of many angry words, by human emotion
lunatic, tumultuous, cast back at each other
perpetually urging a break to our oath

We, I believe, deserve each other.
not good enough, for those with their shit together,
better then those who are completely deluded
psychopathic yet lamenting....we've got both good and bad
yes we do...we deserve each other

A revelation in declaring this, I concede
my own errors in this marriage...
asinine at times...compulsive by nature
I freely take the bad that I am, with full admission
profoundly, delicately I softly speak...

Lately honey, I've felt so much numbing desolation
I hate him in the mirror, tall, gothic...on a precipice...I stand
...the past is shades of gray...ashes
try as I do...scratching them away
mystically reappearing...before my eyes...eternal chains I carry
the texture of a coffin blanket they feel
to let go would be to die, to hold...to live

Somewhere...betwixt...a man that's really me awaits
deep down there's an entity, who wishes to shed all this refuse,
all this debris...of yesterdays, things that will never be
on and on....it goes...these quiet epiphanies my mind composes
essence of all these words...I love you,
forgive me my trespasses as I forgive yours
