I never wanted us to end like this
With only the sweetest kiss
I wanted to hold you in my arms at least one more time
And look into your deep eyes
I wanted to open my heart to you
And fantasize about all the things we can do
I never wanted you to go
Now What Could've Been we'll never know
So many things left undone
So now is it time for me to run
I wanted to be held in your arms once more
Instead I feel shaken to the core
I would give you whatever you needed
I could be all that you seek
But now that chance I'll never have
Because What Could've Been is in the past
What Could've Been would have been so beautiful
What Could've Been Should have been so beautiful
