what is this madness
this terrible longing for him
a yearning for only a moment alone
to taste, to touch, to possess
there is no love from him
and i don't want it
but still, a warmth, a quiet kindness
that i know will flit away as quickly as it comes
i see a glimmer of the beast he holds tight
he's broken, but proud
and when he touches me i am lost

what is this madness
this frantic coupling i seek
to embrace the slick tempo he sets
the breathless sighs and quiet moans
wrenched from me in a moment of passion
i wait to see his eyes darken
so i may feel some satisfaction
i know in my heart i am nothing to him
but yet i want his approval
and on my knees, may i earn it
