Time stops whispers wake
Vision blurs hearts ache
Smiles vanish happy dies
Anguish lurks when a heart cries

Pain rises skin pales
Stabbing edges sharpened nails
Digging in gouging eyes
Body withers when a heart cries.

Madness comes darkened mind
Sickened boils cancers find
Maggots crawl from rotting flies
Insane enters when a heart cries

Body breaks brittle bones
Tight trembles mingled moans
Cursing callous cheating lies
Death visits when a heart cries

No one cares
If someone dies
No one listens
When a heart cries.

You know what your work does to me.
