it was over;
for we vowed to be unplugged
even as I was plugged.
Bottoms up
then down the hatch
there were no last names
or numbers;
Just an email
where we could log in,
then dive for delete
in the flick of a screen.
I knew one day I'd be gone
or he would be
and in the end, I was
technically wistful.

Imaginary_friendabout 15 years agoI enjoyed your poem. The content is not unique, yet you seem to have a somewhat newer spin on the subject. I think your punctuation or lines could be tightened a bit though. I wish there were a score closer to 90.
