WHEN THE HEAVENS SEEM TO CRY

There is a certain sadness,
That seems to affect us all.
Yes, I think we all feel a subtle sorrow,
When the raindrops begin to fall.

It is as if we sense a pain,
When falling teardrops come from the sky.
Yes, it is a subtle sorrow felt,
When the heavens seem to cry.

There is no bright blue sky,
Or the comforting warmth of the sun.
For it seems as if the cold,
And darkness has won.

Yes, I think we all find a subtle sadness,
When it seems as if the heavens cry this way.
And just a touch of sorrow,
When their teardrops fill our day…BWL
