Where Are The Decent Guys
I look and I look but just can't seem to find,
A guy who is sweet, decent, and kind.
They put on a front, and lie to your face,
In every incidence this seems to be the case.
They'll tell you what you want to hear,
They'll say all the things you hold so dear.
They play you and use you until you believe,
You give them what they want, then they leave.
Only giving you enough time to fill their need,
All the warning signs are there but you don't heed.
They work their way deep into your heart,
Then over and over they tear it apart.
Decent guys just can't be found.
