Who are the innocent?
Who are these saintly beings from a land of purity?
These people who never felt the rage of revenge.
Who are these people who never called to arms?
Who are these people who felt love was indomitable?
Who are the ones who felt gentleness could make things strong?
Are these the people who brought children into a world of intolerance?
A place with the motto of “trust no one”…….
This place where people live with the harshest of realities.
It’s a place where an arithmetic theory rules…..
What’s it called again ?…..economix I believe.
Such a poison among so many.
So the children are brought into this hell?
And presented as symbols of hope….
All this expected of them while accepting the harsh realities….
The basic evils.
Pay your bills or be cast out.
Or how about this one….”where’s the money?”
Sad it wasn’t ….”where’s the love?”
But yes people the children are hope and much more.
They are victory.
So as you can see something will have to give……………….
Life never before.
