Half his heart buried
beneath a black universe.
The pain hidden
in his luminous glow.

The year granted
thirteen visits from love
The remainder left him
Somber and incomplete.

His fate to rise and fall
in the lonely atmosphere.
He reluctantly illuminates the dark,
until his crescent heart expands again.

Beautifully Written

I like the idea that "He reluctantly illuminates the dark" It makes me wonder what he would do if he didn't have to continue his never ending cycle...
