I feel so empty
so alone and blue
being seen by others,
but not being seen by you.

The words I pen for stories
and poems that I share,
only gather dust
when they fall upon your ears.

The routine of our life
is really hard to bare,
as each and everyday,
my pain it starts to ware.

Many say just walk away,
but they don't see my heart,
for though you have stopped caring
I wouldn't even know how to start.

Love from you seems lost to me,
and that is what
hurts the most inside me
because you love me not.

My jaw it clinches tight
as once more you say good night,
and leave me here alone
to face this lonely sight...

Of an empty home,
a heart that beats so strong
only wanting to touch you
and try to bring yours along.

This hurts so bad this evening,
I can hardly breath,
as the tears fall from my eyes
that you refuse to see.

I no longer wish to hurt
or cry these tears of woe.
I only wish you'd realize
your missing what craves your very soul.

Suffering in silence,

who's practicing greater cruelty;

indifference or invisibility?

Raw!

DC:

I see a part of me that still hurts when I see it laid out in your poem. It took more then a few years to understand and try to change. Thank God I was able to change, because it was well worth it and the love returned was beyond my ken. Thank You Ronnie W.
