Pleasure comes hard in my heart, in his arms
In this sweetness unarmed I'm afraid
For I've worn the face of a warrior, a martyr
A woman so patient in pain
And I've withstood all for this moment before me
But how will I stand in his eyes?
As I leave this battle I fought to surrender
And taste this wild honey with my love tonight

Submerged in my tears I ascend to be crowned
By a beauty that's born in his eyes
Structured by strength, now defined in this love
In majestic completion I'll rise
As I rose above all for this moment before me
I'll lay down the fight at his side
The battle is won now in sweetest surrender
I'll taste this wild honey with my love tonight
