Wild as they come,
Fight or flight.
She'd take flight,
Unless backed
Into a corner.

Her mane,
Long and untamed.
Red with fury,
None can touch
Without worry.

A Mustang at heart,
Can be tamed over time.
Though wild she stays,
Heart and soul
Never to be stalled.

Wild she stays,
Testing the waters
From time to time.
She is a Mustang
Running wild and free.

I have great....

respect for the wild mustang. Nice poem. It is a shame that they are under siege by our modern day barbarians intent on killing them for who knows what reason.

Another horse.

Wonderful rendering about wild mustangs ~ though tamed they still always look for a chance to be free.

One of your better pieces, extolling the spirit of the Mustang; I knew a few gals like that...
