up into the clouds of the storm
weaving through the lightning
down through the pines
on the mountainside
along the river
and out to caress
the surface of the sea
grabbing a hint of moisture and salt
a thousand miles and more
just to be
with the wind
at the moment
it brushes across your cheek.
