Once innocence deigned to rule this heart.
No more, no more, silence will not reign.
Once the wine of reality touched this heart.
Now more, and now more, it sings pleasure.
Whirling and spinning with realizations.
Unkindly, untold, unheard, until now.
Settle in, true thoughts, take root here.
Placate as master, and rule as slave.

None as me, do I see.
Cold, alone, heart as stone.
Look to see, who I’ll be.
Shelter turns to fetter.
Out I run, under cold, ice sun.
Playing at darkness, never the darkest.
Resting between, what do I glean?
Respect of one, hate of the other? NO!
Hate and hate equals hate, give in.

To drink the blood of a pure heart.
To cleave and cut that purity free.
Savoring the tears upon the tip of my tongue.
An act of distruction meant only to serve me.
To leave, buried in the roses flesh, its own thorns.
To show it its own hellish needs.
To express them in extravagance.
Savoring the realization in that pale rose's eyes.
An act of defiance against our masochistic master.
