One's man poison, the other
man's wine
The sweetest grape is
left to the vine

The beauty of roses
belays the thorns,
some see it thusly,
others may mourn

That from which flows
the sweetest of wines
A chalice, a cup
it's all in your mind

Vision entices, as well
it may scorn
Some see the roses
some need the thorns

Beauty

is most definitely in the eye of the beholder, that much we all know. Nice comparisons, well done.
