The liquid black of midwinter's unfrozen river at twilight
Obscurely reflecting the deep blues and purples of sunset
Shadows of trees frosted like shy clouds reaching to the sky
Moonlight reflecting on the snowflakes like glitter spread on the path
Blending into the scenery discreetly walking along
Creating clouds from breath with deep relaxed sighs
Sounds of light breezes winding through dry brush
Footsteps close to a whisper with rhythm
Birds in the distance exchanging soft peeps
Not a cloud in the sky or a thought in mind
A moment of peace meant to enjoy
