Click hereyou have strong sexy shoulders
may I pour you a drink?
cow’s milk
would you like sugar with that
a hat on your hallway hook
meerschaum in your tray
a ring in your tub uniquely me?
my leg from behind
slid between
hopefully clockwise
at my orientation
equator tango crossing, now it’s safe to
twist that counter way
break me off
make a pain
for you to mend
I love pretzels, baby
don’t run so fast
don’t kick so hard
in-those-high-houston-boots
I want you
your poetry jabs me (in a good way). It's like I am reading something, but something else is actually on the page. You have an off beat word play that I have not been able to get to work for me. I'd copy you but can't figure out how. Nice stuff here...
jim :)
is the only thing that seemed out of place to me. It's entirely esoteric, so not easily recognizable to lots. I personally had to look it up, thus my opinion of such. Delicious poem anyway.
i'll take the milk and sugar
poured over fresh fallen snow
scooped with long fingers
defrosted in my mouth
blind
i must close my eyes
to read your words
