Oh, the words of love
How little you speak true
Where all that once was light and loved
Became so dark in you

Oh, the lament of love
Who's brow hath lifted sweet
Who's very soul hath parted fast
On naught but two swift feet

Oh, what love hath lost!
Her wings remnants of before
Where all the angels once would sing
Her praise: is nevermore.

Oh, what little love remains
In a world so bittersweet
Betwixt the light and dark
Of a fading memory

Oh, what words of love!
Have you yet to meet my heart?
It seems so little love remains
In something yet so dark

Oh, those words of love
They cannot come for you
My sweet, my heart, my lover: nay!
You would doubt their truth!

But oh, those words of love...
True they'll ever ring
Forever in a story writ
You'll never even see.
