Living in my world of one,
Little value to my peers,
Lonliness can drag me down,
And drown me in my tears.

Where can the lonley find a path
That leads to love and joy?
I reach out for a human touch,
But bother and annoy.

I creep into my hard cold shell,
A burden I won't be,
I count the days 'til laid to rest,
To set my heartache free.
