The beauty and simplicity
The complex becomes round and swelled
From the burden springs new love

Often prevented
Often regretted
Often abandoned
Often denied
Often neglected
Often despised

Making it easier on one to push it all onto the other

What could be fulfillment is made into drudgery
What could be Contentment is made into agony
What should be welcomed is turned away

Swollen milk filled breasts should be seen as beauty
Swollen stretched out bellies should be looked at with love

Alas, often truth is hated and the hate becomes truth.

One of the MOST Beautiful Things on Earth

Vic_elor,
What a wonderfully insightful poem! I was never so love with my wife when she was pregnant with our two children. She is a beauty every day and always, but NEVER so much as when with child.

Pregnant women should revel in their beauty whether observed (or recognized) by others or not. Bless you.

empathy.

Cute little illustration. A pregnant lady is a lovesome thing ~ not a burden.
