When we first met, I knew you would be the one
The one that would be the one for me
After my last experience, I thought I was done
But being with you helped me to forget and see
You took me off the shelf and showed life
Took me to places that I have never been before
Before I met you, I wanted to slit my wrists with a knife
You helped me to close and then open a new door
