When I hear your voice on the other end of the phone
I smile and get all happy inside
When you agree to see me - I count the minutes until we do
I don't care that you are a different color than me
When I look I see a man - not the color of your skin
Running into your arms to get that big bear hug
Sends chills running up and down my spine
I don't know how I ever got so lucky to call you mine
When you have to leave I want to cry but I know that you will be back
Waiting for the day when I don't have to share you with anyone else
