You don't see my heart
Or do you even care
I stand here by your side
Do you realize I'm there

And you don't see my heart
Or know about my fears
I stand by in support
Fighting silent tears

The emptiness inside
It eats away at me
But as long as I am here for you
You won't try to see

I'm dying from within
My heart begins to bleed
Do you know that you can save me now
Just by letting yourself see

I crumble to the ground
As I try to stand my you
My own light fades away
The applause draw into you

And will you help me stand
And show me that your there
Will you show me how you feel
And prove to me you care

Or am I just a steping stone
A means to reach your end
Like the dirt beneath your feet
Am I left behind again

And you don't see my heart
Or know about my tears
The wall I built has cracked
Do I leave or are you here

Take me by the hand
And guide me to your arms
Or walk right over me
And leave me again alone

Bu spare my heart more pain
I don't think I can survive
If you don't really want me here
Set me free before I die
