You smiled at me with your eyes,
and caught me off guard with laughter,
I got caught up in that whirlwind,
that seemed to just follow you around.

Then you kissed me and took control,
embraced me in those strong arms,
my heart beat in unison with yours,
and I fell a slave to the passion.

As the winds subsided and left me,
I lay there without emotion on my face,
my heart was a wasteland torn and bleeding,
and my only hope is to never look back again.
