i hold you closer than a breath
and i know you
you have always been and will always be
a beacon horizon light revealed as mists part way

return unto the sea

your spirit untamed foam and wind
wild march neath empty sky
in passing chance companioned steps
enjoined attendant stars to guide

i am drawn beyond my senses
beyond all hued vistas known
no thing to seek no thing remains
but shoreless night to call my own

without a world of utter madness
within a final stillness claimed
beyond these dreams i stir to wake
and find you there

you speak my name
