Little did you know
That you were really
My angel, my guardian.
You protected me
In every way possible
You shielded me
You loved me.
I broke your heart
You broke mine
Why are we so foolish
To put our love on the line.
You were my everything
My life, the very breath I breathed
I was nothing without you
You were my everything.
Will you ever know
My deepest, inner thoughts?
The love I still carry inside for you
Will you ever really know it?
