I'm not asking for a million dollars
I know that your not rich

I'm asking you to mend my heart
with a gentle loving stitch

I dont want shiney diamonds
or clothes made of lace

I just want to spend my nights
in your warm and soothing embrace

I dont need jewelry of gold
or a fancy brand new car

I just need you next to me
and not looking from afar

I dont want us to argue
cant we just talk like we are friends

I want this to work out
and I dont want us to end

I dont like to cry
I would rather be at ease

I'm not really asking for all that much
just for a little of your attention please
