As dark as the night obstructs,
and the worn tread of a heart rejected.
Curtained windows, never spread,
my eyes suppress the actions that so offended.
As autumn announces its quiet entrance,
the colors, cool, warm, abstractly blended.
So stands the deep inside,
this battered, bruised soul,
struts onward, resplendent.
The end is all white.

understood

and appreciated. probably the best of your work I have read so far. must ask though, is the "your" an intended ( mis)spelling, or did you mean "you're"?
