Click hereI see within your face
Life and love, joy and peace.
A place were hearts begin,
To beat apace
And love is home again.
To touch your cheek
With gentle kiss
My will, become so weak.
I can but give my heart to you
For you are what I seek.
An image of your gentle gaze
Was captured long before.
Twas a masters hand
That painted it with glaze
And left it long to stand.
I could have put 200 if it was there!!!
So romantic, geez, so beautifull! I just LOVED it dear Wizard!
Thank you for this poem.
And one day maybe someone will tell me something as simple but as beautifull! Then, I'll know I am loved!
Very sensitive!
Didi xoxo
I think that poem expresses very well the kind of love that most of us hope to find someday and a few of us have been lucky enough to have already found!
Beautifully done Mav.
Loved it from start to finish.
To the last poster: Poetry isn't always romeo and juliet, rhyme and symmetrical.
It's words, painting a picture.
This, was beautiful, thank you MaverickMan.
