As I lay dormant
in this den of thieves,
your love stands contagious
treading lightly upon me

Say you'll pin-up,
come undone for me,
come apart in stitches,
at the seam.

I met your silhouette
in my garden,
inside a rabbit's hole
and dreaming--

"Her boy could dance!"

and maybe, just maybe
promenade

(By Morning)

With any luck,
you will have bitten my mouth
by morning.

came back

I winced at the first clichish phrase until I saw you were using it as a tool. Storybook.

Your (by morning) I did not see the need to repeat it for the last line.

Awesome title, really, you are a rockstar.

good stuff

I liked this poem with coffee but liked it better after a second reading. By the way, poetic title.
