The soft sad breeze does not rest
Long since weary of the burden
of a thousand clouds and kites and whispers

Lonely, looking for a warm and quiet land
for a still embrace
But everywhere the trees rattle, the stones whistle, and water shimmers and shakes
Devils of dust and snow spin and leap and dance
and never allow a touch
mocking in their fleeting ways

Reach out and grab the current
Let it sleep and dream
of a world of peaceful stillness
and open, cloudless skies

Wonderfully descriptive and using one of my favorite words ā€” zephyr ā€” so soft and sensuous.
