The old white gas lantern glows
the rain on the roof comes and goes
this cabin was built before the war
but still sound with window and door,
My plane is parked, tied down tight
the forecast called for a stormy night
we flew here two days ago
landed on the frozen snow,

We brought in grub and sleeping bags
enough food to keep us alive
for a couple weeks, wine, no beer
why we came is not very clear,
To get away, to have some fun
fly the airplane, the arctic sun
starry nights, Aurora pleasure
dig around for buried treasure,

Our sleeping bags are zipped together
filled full of goose down feathers
I sweeten our coffee with a honey treat
in the sleeping bag our bodies meet,
We drink our coffee, our foreplay nectar
you then welcome my alert vector
slow and steady, sweet and long
late winter rain our siren song,
