Up north, there was a person who was living and operating on the strength which she'd taken from him.
He wanted it back.
He also wanted what she could give to him to make him feel better -- younger and stronger.
He wanted that as well. He only needed to try to balance those things against his desire to torment her and hold her at the point where she'd beg for the bliss of nothingness for what she'd done to him.

Seriously though, when you have some time, could you please write up a 'chapter' (a really short bio on each character ~ a paragraph maybe?) on each character we've seen so far and what's happened to them so far?
I love reading this, but it gets really hard to keep track of all the names now. Feels like I'm trying to read a friggin census sometimes =/
(Still, better 'too many' characters than nowhere near enough of them, amirite?)

Names though... So hard to keep track of so many names. Random note- Bulldog spiked lizard demons with hot human genitalia... cool
