Barbs Pre-Employment Exam

"Before I show you your work area and introduce you to your supervisor, let's see if the president has a few minutes to meet with you. He is quite friendly," Ms. Caplan explained. They took the elevator to the top floor and entered a very spacious office with a breathtaking view. The president was on the phone with his back to them. When he finished his call he spun around. When Barb saw him she dropped the cup of iced tea she was carrying.

Ms. Caplan laughed at the incident and said, "Oh, I didn't realize you met Pat already. Did he pull that employment physical stunt on you? Don't be embarrassed; all the ladies here have been examined and if you look around, we hire only ladies. You will learn to look forward to it."

Pat shook Barb's hand and said, "How are you today. I trust you slept well since we last met." Barb just looked at his hand mesmerized. The hand that had touched her most intimate places. She found herself in shock and unable to speak. She was so excited about her new position earlier but now didn't think she could see Pat at the office and not hide in a corner. Worse was others were aware of the physical exam. Did everyone have to endure the same thing?

As Ms. Caplan started to escort her out Pat said, "Barb is going to do well here. If she works as hard as she plays, she will be a manager in no time. I'll put the video of her exam on the network this afternoon."
